Meet the Founder
Camp Elevate was created by Mahaganee, a passionate community leader, advocate, and mother who saw a need for more safe, structured opportunities for youth—especially in communities like Union County.
Through her work with the South Carolina Energy Justice Coalition, she has led programs centered on community engagement, youth empowerment, and equity. But beyond her professional experience, her biggest inspiration is simple: making sure young people have access to the opportunities they deserve.
Camp Elevate was built to be more than just a summer program. It’s a space where teens can learn real-world skills, gain confidence, and be surrounded by people who believe in their potential.
Mahaganee’s mission is clear: create opportunities, build confidence, and help youth see a bigger future for themselves.
